The event was organized by the Waterloo Students for the Information Commons with help from the people on the Students for Free Culture discussion e-mail list. For more information on the event, please contact me.

Playlist

The following are lists of the 28 songs that were used for the event. These songs were played for 20 minutes at half hour intervals; the other 10 minutes was used for playing the videos.

oct29oca-playlist.m3u - playlist suitable for most music player software; if it doesn't work for you, try using VLC media player

oct29oca-playlist.txt - list of all URLs to the songs in the playlist, including the original playlists that contained these songs and the web sites that hosted the original playlists

Videos

Below is a list of the videos that were shown at this event. The videos were all taken from http://support.creativecommons.org/videos/. There are several format options for each of the videos listed on that web page. The links below are for the videos that had correct audio and video synchronization with Totem 2.20.0 on Ubuntu 7.10. Totem had trouble with synchronization on some of the other videos. Note that "Get Creative" does not use a direct link to the CC web site; it was downloaded from Revver.
